Wendy is an outdoor country girl at heart who loves anxiously awaiting the signal of spring in Idaho so she can put on her wide-brimmed hat and sunscreen and head outside to be in her flower and vegetable gardens! She loves getting her hands deep in the soil, weeding, fertilizing, pruning and cultivating everything to make the most healthy, beautiful and prosperous result that she can be proud of and show off!
When it comes to taking care of your skin, Wendy uses that same natural “green thumb” to get deep into your skin’s needs, pamper you and cultivate lasting results you are looking for to be proud of and show off as well!
Having been raised in Portland, Oregon, Wendy embraces diversity in all areas of her life and is always looking for the good around her and finds the positive in all things. She attended Brigham Young University- Idaho and earned an Associate of Science degree in Marriage and Family Relations. She then attended the highly-regarded SkinScience Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah and received her Master Esthetics License in 2007. She has also had the opportunity to use her love for teaching and educating to be an instructor for the SkinScience Institute. We were very fortunate to have Wendy join our staff in 2018 where she runs the Esthetics extension of Mountain West Dermatology providing treatments and solutions for all ages.
Wendy is particularly known for being friendly, easy to talk and sincere. She individually connects with people in a nonjudgmental way, helps them feel relaxed and easily becomes a good friend. Her gentle hand and extraordinary eye for detail makes you appreciate her ability to see the overall picture while still finding the extra features to fine tune and give you that confidence in yourself. She is ever mindful of helping you out and listening to you skin care goals and will provide you with the solutions and suggestions that will give you the results you want without being pushy and staying within your budget. She is knowledgeable and confident in her craft and wants you to achieve that same confidence in your skin.
